Reading your dashboard

Once AI visits start coming in, here's what everything on your site's dashboard actually means. You'll also find a small ⓘ icon next to these same labels directly on the dashboard — hover it any time for a quick reminder.

The four main numbers

Verified AI Visits
The headline number. Real AI visits we've double-checked aren't fake — we confirm the visitor's identity by matching its IP address against that AI company's published, official IP ranges. This is the sum of the three categories below it.
Live User Fetches
Someone just asked an AI assistant to open this page. This happens when a real person is chatting with an AI (like ChatGPT) and it fetches your page in real time to answer their question.
AI Search Crawls
An AI search engine is browsing your site to include it in its own search results — similar to how Google crawls the web, but for AI-powered search products.
Training Scrapes
An AI company is collecting your content to train its models. This is a one-off or periodic crawl, not tied to a specific person's question.

The two context numbers

These two are shown for context but are not counted in your AI visit totals above — Google's own crawlers aren't themselves an AI system visiting you, even though Google Search results feed into some of Google's AI products.

Google Search readability
How well Google can read your site — this crawl feeds Google Search and Google's AI Overviews.
Other / R&D crawlers
Other Google bots, unrelated to AI — internal research and development crawling.

What “spoofed” and “unverifiable” mean

Sometimes a visit claims to be from an AI bot (via its user-agent, a bit of text every visitor sends) but we can't fully confirm it — those are excluded from your main totals and shown separately:

The other sections

AI visits by purpose (the donut chart)
How your AI visits split up: live lookups, search indexing, or training.
AI platforms
Which AI companies visit your site the most — OpenAI/ChatGPT, Perplexity, Apple, Amazon, and others, ranked by verified visit count.
AI referral visits
Real people arriving at your site after an AI chat gave them a link to it — this is human traffic driven by AI, not a bot visit, tracked separately from everything above.
